Camps

Since 2013, we have been organizing Yoga and personal development retreats on various themes. The retreats take place in different locations across the country and abroad, lasting either 3 or 10 days.

They are structured so that participants learn to apply in daily life the techniques, methods, and perspectives that Maestra TARA patiently and carefully shares with them, helping them view life and its situations from a new angle.

Each retreat is thoughtfully designed and organized by Maestra TARA according to the participants’ needs, which is why we recommend registering well in advance.

In addition to the teachings offered by Maestra TARA — which vary depending on each retreat’s theme — participants also learn to cultivate a healthy lifestyle. Each person takes part in organizational activities, such as preparing breakfast together. They also learn cleansing and detoxification techniques that can be practiced long after the retreat ends.

We work on all levels of our Being, giving attention to both the physical body and the internal organs. For this purpose, the menu of each retreat is Ayurvedic, adjusted to the season in which the retreat takes place. We use fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, cooked according to Ayurvedic principles, while also taking into account each participant’s specific needs (allergies, intolerances, etc.).

Like all activities of the Armonia Center, the retreats are open to people of all ages.

The guiding principle that Maestra TARA teaches us to live by is to be like an empty vessel — free from opinions or preconceptions — so that we can truly receive and experience each moment as it comes. Only then can we truly live it.

The retreats are held in Romanian, and upon request, translation into English and Hungarian is provided.

Below you will find the themes explored from 2013 to the present. You can access detailed information about each retreat by clicking on the titles listed below.

A child grows and develops within the context of their environment.

A human being is nourished not only by food but also by information and energy. They form relationships — they step into the world of human connection. Through these relationships, a child builds their inner structure and defines themselves — or, sometimes, through the relationships that are missing.

The pressure of disharmony is increasingly felt by children today. They risk being drawn into unhealthy relationships.

No matter how hard they try, parents too have their own life lessons to learn — they are not only parents.

That is why we are reviving the model that it takes a whole village to raise a child. To support children and their parents, we have created activities through which they can learn guidelines and models for harmonious relationships.

In the welcoming space of the Armonia Center, we have created an atmosphere that supports the harmonious development of children.

Emotions are wonderful. The sensations and feelings we experience are our lifelong companions — they are the natural language of human beings.

The ability to feel is a gift, not a flaw.

Depending on how we interpret the stimuli we perceive from the environment, sensations, emotions, and states of being arise within us.

Our thoughts, in turn, trigger emotions — through which we “speak” about ourselves. Through the language of emotions, we constantly express what we think — unless we have been taught to swallow our feelings. Through the language of emotions, we constantly express what we think — unless we have been taught to swallow our feelings.

How helpful it would have been for us, as adults, if we had been guided from childhood to communicate the richness of human emotions without causing harm.

The repression of emotions distorts us, makes us bitter, sick, and distances us even from our loved ones.

What do you feel right now?

I am happy to contribute, even a little, to helping children learn non-violent emotional communication.

The concept of this retreat is addressed to those who are at the beginning of transforming suffering into vital energy.

At the same time, Maestra Tara’s unique perspective is valuable for:
– those for whom spirituality is not a new anesthetic for pain, nor a safety net that rocks us into the comfort of control;
– those who have paid for material success with the loss of connection to their soul and spirit;
– those who wish to dare to be patient in building themselves after having exhausted the experience of quick fixes — those who have tasted spiritual stagnation;
– those who want to discover the courage to sublimate suffering without avoiding it;
– those who realize that retreating far from the current chaos means rejecting reality as an opportunity for growth;
– those who dare to explore beyond the clichés that define a “spiritually evolved person”;
– those who have lost the joy of living while triumphing over others;
– those addicted to social success, to the security of well-worn paths, to doing, having, winning, controlling, and so on;
– those who confuse detachment with the absence of emotions;
– those who have already experienced the illusion of eternal smiles and the pressure to feel good all the time;
– those who feel the need to retreat to isolated places because the environment they live in has become increasingly oppressive, and it is painful to face so much suffering caused by people who are not as “spiritual”;
– those who wish to become realistic-spiritual;
– those who accept that burnout, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and similar states are languages they do not yet understand — but can learn. Those who have realized that the flood of quick solutions often only buries problems deeper.
The psycho-emotional dimension of a person is like a delicate flower.
What happens when we place vibrant, fragrant flowers into a vase filled with water that’s been sitting for months — or even years?
If you were that flower, would you feel invigorated after drinking stagnant water?
And if those around you — who receive you — demanded that you be full of joy and vitality, could you feel the pressure placed on you to deny your reality and force yourself to play a role?
Perhaps you have already lived through the two most common options:
– you wither quickly and shut yourself off from what life offers;
– or you dissociate from your real self and place even more pressure on yourself, forcing yourself to be “positive” at all times, running from success to success so as not to have to sit with yourself as you are.
Those who intuitively wish to rediscover the state of “I don’t know” in their fundamental relationship with Reality, and those who wish to explore the unknown, are warmly welcomed in this retreat.
For me, the path of spirituality lived in reality means the courage to fall in order to rise again.
